Portland — The Oregon Public Health Division will hold a news conference to
discuss Oregon’s preparedness for the H1N1 pandemic influenza and how the state
will order and distribute the H1N1 pandemic flu vaccine during the next month and
throughout the flu season.

WHAT: News conference
WHO: Oregon Public Health Director Mel Kohn, M.D., M.P.H., will speak and
answer questions. Statewide news media are invited. A tri-county health
officer also will be in attendance.
WHEN: Wednesday, Sept. 30, 9-10 a.m.
WHERE: Room 1A at the Portland State Office Building, 800 N.E. Oregon St.,
Portland.
